"Kristus"(European Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1/2 cube butter or oleo
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    oil, heated to 375~
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat eggs well.
    Cut
    oleo into flour, add eggs to make stiff dough
    (as\tfor
    pie
    dough).
    Roll
    on
    floured
    board 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut
    into
    4 x 1-inch strips.
    Slit center of each strip and fold
    end into center.\tFry in hot fat, about 2 minutes each side.
    Immediately\tremove\tfrom
    oil and roll in powdered sugar; allow to cool and enjoy.
    Nice for Christmas.
