Crisp Pickle Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. lime (in crock or stainless steel container)
    2 gal. water
    cucumbers (enough that water will cover)
    2 qt. pure cider vinegar
    9 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery salt
    1 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers in lime solution for 24 hours.
    Rinse and cover with fresh water.
    Soak 3 hours.
    Drain well.
    Cover with vinegar and sugar mix.
    Soak overnight, then boil gently 40 minutes or until clear.
    Place in jar and seal.
