Pasta And Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. parsley, chopped
2 tsp. olive oil
16 oz. black-eyed peas
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. basil
1 1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
3/4 c. chicken broth
8 oz. elbow macaroni
grated Romano cheese
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
-
Saute onion, carrot, garlic and parsley in olive oil until soft, but not brown.
Add peas, undrained, and all spices and seasonings.
Add chicken broth.
Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
