Apple Gingerbread Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium apples, pared, cored and sliced (4 c.)
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine apples, brown sugar, 1 cup water, lemon juice and cinnamon.
    Cover and cook until apples are tender.
