Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw grated potatoes
    2 whole eggs
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 medium grated onion
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and soak in water for several hours.
    Grate with onion.
    Add rest of the ingredients.
    Drop by spoonfuls on hot well-greased skillet, in small cakes.
    Turn and brown on both sides.
    Serve with sour cream or applesauce.
