Sweet Sour Dill Chunks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pickles
    onion slices
    celery pieces
    heads of dill
    1 qt. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut pickles into 1-inch chunks.
    To each jar, add 3 to 4 slices onion, 2 pieces celery and 2 heads of dill.
    Dissolve sugar and salt in vinegar and water; bring to a boil.
    Pour over pickles; seal at once.
    Can use after 30 days.
    This is enough for 4 quarts.
