Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. oil or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    9 c. flour
Preparation
Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil, then let cool to 125\u00b0. Sift together about 3 cups flour, baking powder and soda. Add yeast to 1/2 cup warm water. Add to milk mixture, then add the remaining flour. Mix well. Knead until it's easy to handle. My Mom always said, \"Knead until it feels like a baby's bottom.\" Put in an oiled or buttered pan or bowl. Cover and let rise at room temperature until doubled in bulk. Punch down and refrigerate 3 hours to 10 days (covered tightly). Generally needs to be punched down every day or so.
