Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. hot water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. water
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Add 1 cup hot water to melted shortening.
    Mix 1 package yeast and 1/2 cup water.
    Add 1 beaten egg to yeast mixture.
    Combine all ingredients together.
    Add flour.
    Mix well with wire beater or electric mixer.
    Place in bowl in warm place.
    Cover with towel. Let rise twice its size.
    Punch down.
    Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Spray cookie sheet with Pam.
    Place rolls on it. Cover with towel; let rise again.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
