Applesauce Oat Bran Muffins(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oat bran
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1/2 c. prunes, dates or raisins
    1/4 c. whole flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 (16 oz.) can unsweetened applesauce
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients.
    In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients until well blended.
    Mix both bowls together and pour into greased muffin pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen.
