Spicy Chicken Skewers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable cooking spray
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
    3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    3 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 lb. boned, skinned chicken breasts
    2 small red bell peppers, each cut into 16 (1-inch) pieces
    2 tsp. sesame seed, divided
Preparation
    Coat a small skillet with vegetable cooking spray.
    Place over medium heat until hot. Add minced onion and crushed red pepper. Saute 3 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat.
    Stir in brown sugar, black pepper, white wine vinegar, soy sauce and sherry. Set aside.
