Tagliatelle With Peas And Lettuce(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil of olives
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 young crisp head lettuce, cut into ribbons
    10 oz. frozen young peas, thawed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. tagliatelle (thin spaghetti)
Preparation
    Heat the oil and add the onion.
    When the onion is soft, add the lettuce and peas.
    Cover and cook gently until peas are soft. Do not overcook or they will lose their color.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water.
    Drain, reserving a little of the water for the sauce, adding a little of the pasta water if the pasta seems too dry.
