Meringue(Per Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 Tbsp. water
    8 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and water. Beat until stiff and in peaks.
    Add sugar, 1 or 2 at a time.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Beat until very stiff.
    Spread over pie.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
