Sponge Cake(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Put cornstarch and baking powder in cup; fill cup with flour. Separate eggs; beat yolks with sugar, water and lemon juice until light and lemon colored with no trace of grains of sugar.
    Add flour to egg yolk mixture; stir lightly.
    Beat egg whites until very stiff, then fold in yolk mixture.
    Pour in small tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
