Bird'S Nest - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cake flour

Preparation

Mix ingredients; chill thoroughly.
Roll in small balls.
Dip first in slightly beaten egg white, then in finely chopped nuts. Place dipped side up on baking sheet.
Press down in the center of each ball with a spoon to make a hollow place or make a thumbprint.
Bake for 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
