Broiled Shad(Fish And Oysters) - cooking recipe

broiled shad
salt and pepper
Preparation

When the fish is cleaned, wash, wipe and split it.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Lay it upon a buttered gridiron, inside down.
When the lower side is done, turn the fish.
One of medium size will take 20 minutes.
Serve hot, lay a good piece of butter on the fish.
