Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 egg
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and nutmeg; add eggs, beating after each addition.
    Stir in bananas and vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Beat into creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in nuts, pour batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
