Sweet Pickle Spears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. small pickling cucumbers
4 c. sugar
3 3/4 c. distilled vinegar
3 Tbsp. canning salt
3 tsp. celery seed
4 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Slice ends from cucumbers and cut into spears.
Pour boiling water over cucumbers; let stand 2 hours.
