Venetian Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) can almond paste
    1 c. butter
    4 large eggs
    2 c. flour
    red food color
    green food color
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 jar apricot preserves
Preparation
    Mix sugar, paste, butter and eggs.
    Add flour last.
    Divide into 3 parts.
    Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with foil.
    Spray the foil with Pam.
    Put 1 part in this pan.
    Bake for 11 minutes.
