Godwinsville Collard Greens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. salt pork, cut in strips
    2 medium onions, uncut
    4 lb. collard greens
    2 red pepper pods
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash and clean greens well through several waters.
    Boil meat in just enough water to cover.
    Add pepper and seasonings.
    Add greens which have been cut in small pieces.
    Add as little water as possible and boil 1 1/2 hours.
