Johnny'S Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 heaping Tbsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. cream-style corn
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 egg
milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with enough milk to make a stiff batter. Drop by teaspoon into hot oil.
Fry until golden brown.
