Victoria Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cake batter as directed
    1/2 c. jelly or preserves
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Bake cake in layers as directed.
    Split one layer in half to make 2 layers.
    Fill with 1/2 cup jelly or preserves.
    Top with remaining half layer and sift confectioners sugar over top.
    Serve in wedges.
    Use other layer for another dessert.
