Hush Puppies Southern Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 small can chopped chilies
1 medium onion, chopped small
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, only adding enough milk to make a thick dough.
Drop by teaspoon into hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
