Fruit Punch For Fifty - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sugar
8 c. water
1 grated lemon rind
1 grated orange rind
juice of 3 lemons
1 large can pineapple juice
1 large can orange juice
3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation

Dissolve sugar in water; add the grated lemon and orange rind. Boil gently for 10 minutes.
Let mixture cool, then add the juice of 3 lemons.
Chill and when ready to serve, add chilled pineapple juice, orange juice and ginger ale.
Base can be made several days in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to use.
