Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream the oleo and sugar together thoroughly.
    Add mashed bananas and blend.
    Mix flour and other dry ingredients; set aside.
    Combine milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with liquid to creamed mixture.
    Fold in nuts last. Pour into well greased loaf pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Makes 1 regular or 2 small loaf pans.
    Fill 3/4 full.
    This recipe doubles well.
