Celery Amandine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced celery
4 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. minced onion
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. light cream
1/2 c. double strength chicken bouillon
1 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Cook, covered, over low heat the celery, butter and seasoning.
Add onion while it simmers.
When tender, remove and blend in flour. Add cream and bouillon; cook until sauce thickens. Just before serving, add almonds which have been lightly browned in butter.
Serves 8 to 10.
