Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. pkg. dates
1 lb. pecans
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plain flour

Preparation

Beat together eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, salt and flour.
When mixed good, pour over dates and nuts, then mix well and put in a lined tube pan.
Press dough/batter down.
Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
