Aunt Bess' Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 (24 oz.) pkg. shredded hash brown potatoes (frozen)
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 oz. cornflake crumbs
    3/4 stick oleo
Preparation
    Cook onion in oleo until translucent.
    Combine next 5 ingredients.
    Add cooked onions to mixture.
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
