Pinocha Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter; add brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to first mixture.
    Mix in chocolate bits and nuts.
    Spread in an 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 no longer than 30 minutes.
    Cut into squares when cool.
