Pickle Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 large cucumbers
4 large onions
4 mangoes (green peppers)
1 stalk celery
salt
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
green food coloring (if desired)
Preparation

Grind first 4 ingredients and add a handful of salt.
Let stand overnight.
Next day, drain through colander.
Add next 5 ingredients.
Boil 1/2 hour, then seal in jars.
