Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
    Add cornmeal and mix well.
    Beat egg.
    Add milk and shortening to dry ingredients; mix.
    Bake in muffin pans 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
