Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. milk
3 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Soak bread crumbs in milk.
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons of butter until soft.
Add bread crumbs.
Add beef, seasonings and egg.
Form balls, 1 1/2-inches in diameter; dredge in flour and saute in remaining butter until lightly browned.
Add 1 cup stock or water with 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour blended in it to the meatballs.
Cover and simmer until thickened (10 minutes).
