Broccoli-Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. broccoli flowerets (fresh)
    1 small purple onion
    1 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. pecan pieces, toasted
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    11 oz. (1 can) Mandarin oranges, drained
Preparation
    Break broccoli flowerets into bite-size pieces (about 1 1/2-inches).
    Thinly slice onion and separate into rings.
