Kay'S Shadywood Showdown Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
    2 med. yellow onions, diced, divided
    2 bell peppers, diced, divided
    Salt, freshly ground black pepper & garlic powder to taste
    2 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
    4 Tbsp. mole sauce (see note)
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    water
    4 Tbsp. chili powder mix, divided
    1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, drained
    Grated Cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, jalapenos or other garnish
Preparation
    Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium heat.
    Add half the onions an bell peppers and saute until onions are translucent. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    In a separate skillet, brown meat, leaving in chunks; drain fat.
