Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices bacon
    9-inch pastry shell
    1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. light cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chopped chives
Preparation
    Precook bacon slices; drain on paper towel.
    Crumble into pastry shell with cheese.
    Beat eggs and light cream slightly. Add salt and chives.
    Pour over bacon and cheese in shell.
    Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes. Knife will come out clean when tested as you would test custard. Let stand 10 minutes.
    Cut in wedges and serve.
