Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. mashed potatoes
lard (for frying)
4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together oleo and sugar.
Add eggs, milk and mashed potatoes.
Beat and add sifted together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Dough will be sticky.
Roll or pat out on floured board and cut with doughnut cutter.
Fry in hot lard.
