Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can (1 3/4 c.) chicken broth (not condensed)
1/4 c. finely diced carrots
1/4 c. finely diced celery
dash of each: salt and paprika
1/2 c. cubed sharp process American cheese
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender.
Blend in flour.
Add remaining ingredients, except cheese.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Reduce heat.
Add cheese; stir to melt.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Serves 4.
