Dilled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    garlic (1 clove per pt.)
    hot pepper (1 pod per pt.)
    okra (quantity desired)
    dill seed (1 tsp. per pt.)
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Place garlic and pepper in bottom of hot sterilized jars. Remove stem from okra pods.
    Pack okra firmly in jars. Add dill seed. Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour over okra.
    Seal jars.
