Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour and 1/3 cup brown sugar.
    Cut in 3/4 cup of butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture evenly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 17 minutes.
