Granola Cereal - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cashew nuts, chopped (optional)
12 c. oatmeal
6 c. wheat germ
1 1/2 c. coconut
3 c. brown sugar or 2 1/2 c. honey
1 c. salad oil
1 1/2 c. raisins or mixed dried fruits, chopped
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients, then honey and oil.
Put in large roaster and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring often.
Add raisins after baking.
Use your own imagination for variation.
Shredded Wheat may be added or substituted in part.
Dried dates or dried apples, cinnamon, etc. may be added.
Adds more flavor.
If you do not have wheat germ, omit and use more oatmeal.
Makes good eating.
