Old Fashion Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. margarine
7 1/4 oz. can salted peanuts (1 1/4 c.)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt margarine in small saucepan over very low heat.
Add peanuts and salt to warm.
Place sugar in large thick skillet over medium heat.
Stir continuously until sugar caramelizes into golden brown syrup.
Stir in peanuts.
Pour onto large buttered surface at once.
With big spoon, stretch.
Makes 1 1/2 pounds brittle.
Cool and break into pieces.
