Quick Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can chunk pineapple
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1 large can mandarin oranges, drained (but don't save juice)
    4 1/2 oz. pkg. lemon instant pudding
    2 cut up bananas (optional)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and fruit cocktail and save juice.
    Drain oranges, but don't save juice.
    In large bowl, dissolve pudding with 2 juices.
    Stir until pudding is dissolved; do not beat.
    It will thicken some as it sets.
    Just before serving, add bananas or serve without.
