Marinated Sliced Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large tomatoes (3 to 3 1/2-inch diameter)
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/2 clove garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
    1 tsp. crushed dried basil leaves
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes 1/2-inch thick and place in a single layer in a large shallow dish.
