Snow-Day Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. raw boneless round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes (undrained)
12 c. water
6 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 small head cabbage, chopped finely and washed
1 medium onion, chopped finely
3 stalks celery, sliced
3 carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, cubed
28 oz. frozen mixed veggies (family-sized)
Preparation

Plan on 2 hours cooking time, including time to return to proper simmer after adding ingredients.
