Pecan Cookie Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. powdered sugar (for cookies)
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar (for coating)
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend butter with salt and vanilla.
    Add sugar gradually; cream well.
    Sift in flour.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Shape dough into little balls slightly larger than a marble.
    Place on greased cookie sheet; bake for about 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Remove from pan and quickly but carefully, roll the hot cookies in sifted powdered sugar.
    This forms a frosting-like coating over the cookies.
    Cool, then roll again in powdered sugar.
    Store in an airtight container.
