German Chocolate Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    German chocolate cake mix
    1 bag caramels
    1 stick oleo
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on package.
    Melt together caramels, oleo and milk.
    Pour 1/2 cake mix into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and pour caramel mixture over baked 1/2 of cake.
    Add the rest of the cake batter.
    Spread chocolate chips and nuts on top.
    Bake 40 minutes longer.
