Fried Peach Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Place flour and salt into a large bowl.
    Cut butter into flour until it looks like corn meal.
    Pour water in and blend with a fork.
    Refrigerate until ready to use.
    Cook dried fruit according to directions on bag.
    Roll dough out on a floured surface, small pieces at a time.
    Roll to size of a saucer.
    Place fruit on 1/2 of rolled-out dough.
    Close other part of dough over fruit.
    Mash edges together with a fork.
    Heat oil in a medium skillet (iron one preferred).
    Oil should sizzle when you drop a drop of water in (about 200\u00b0).
    Fry 2 pies at a time.
    Drain on rack.
    Sprinkle on powdered sugar.
