Pignolata(Honey Balls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 c. vegetable oil
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. honey
Preparation
    Place flour in bowl; make well in center and crack eggs into flour.
    Mix well working dough with hands until smooth.
    Roll dough out to about 1/8-inch.
    Cut the dough into long strips.
    Cut the strips into 1-inch diagonal pieces.
    Fry pieces of dough in vegetable oil.
    Pieces should be placed one at a time so as not to stick to each other.
    After all dough has been fried, it is time to cook them in honey.
    Heat (low-medium) honey in saucepan until it starts to bubble.
    Place fried dough into the honey and stir, coating all pieces (about 5 minutes).
    Spoon into paper cupcake wrappers and let cool.
    May garnish with colored sprinkles.
