Microwave Apples With Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries with syrup, thawed
    2 medium cooking apples
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/3 c. finely crushed gingersnap cookies
    1/3 c. finely chopped nuts
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Place strawberries in blender container or food processor. Blend until smooth.
    Cut off 1/4-inch from top and bottom of apples.
    Cut each apple in half crosswise, forming 2 thick slices.
