Onion Soup Gratinee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced onions, separated into rings
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed beef broth
    2 1/2 c. water
    dash of pepper
    6 French bread slices, toasted
    2 c. shredded aged natural Swiss cheese
    2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter in large saucepan.
    Add broth, water and pepper.
    Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
    Pour soup into six 8-ounce ovenproof bowls; top with toast.
    Cover with Swiss and Parmesan cheese.
    Place bowls on jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Serve immediately.
    Makes 6 servings.
