Walnut-Cream Cheese Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1 oz.) sq. sweetened chocolate
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water; set aside to cool.
    Cream the butter; slowly add sugar.
    Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Stir chocolate into mixture.
    Add flour, salt, walnuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla, stirring well.
    Pour batter into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased and floured baking pan; set aside.
